ReadKeep Privacy Policy

ReadKeep is a local-first file reader and file manager. This policy explains how the app handles data.

Data Collection

ReadKeep does not collect personal data in this release.

The app does not require an account, does not use advertising identifiers, does not track users across apps or websites, and does not send user documents to a remote server operated by us.

Files and Local Content

Files imported into ReadKeep are stored on the user's device. The user controls importing, opening, moving, renaming, deleting, and sharing files.

Some file types may be opened through iOS system viewers or other apps selected by the user. When the user chooses to open or share a file with another app, that app's privacy practices apply.

Local Network

ReadKeep may request local network access for desktop browser transfer. This access is used only for user-initiated upload and download between the user's phone and computer on the local network.

Diagnostics

This release does not intentionally collect analytics or diagnostic logs from users. Apple may provide crash or performance information through App Store Connect according to the user's device settings and Apple's policies.

Children

ReadKeep is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes

If the app later adds cloud sync, accounts, analytics, or online services, this policy will be updated before those features are released.
